what setting are you guys running the tst twins box on before losing rail press and sky rocketing egts, i was running level 5x2 and ts all the way up and would max 1250 egt at 60 lbs of boost, i added a 200gph fass and now the truck feels like it lost power, the only changes were turning the boost up to 70 psi and adding the fass, now ts at at 75% and tst at 3x2 im hitting 1450 egt at 70 psi boost and feels like rail is losing pressure quickly then leveling off but truck is definitely alot slower in the top end, wtf im getting frustrated, pulled and rebuilt engine, reinstalled, found a bad fca, then had a fuel leaking problem, replaced fca and repaired fuel leak, truck was a tire killing clutch destroying sports car smoking monster, headed off to sac california to a dyno event, had a battery cable short and took out r. s. battery about 60 miles outside of elko, got it charging again with a pair of jumper cables, then lost #1 and #2 cyl fueling from a bad tst harness, ran stock fueling on those two cylinders and overfueled the other four on the dyno and made 457 rwhp at 30psi boost on a mustang unloaded dyno in fifth gear, i was pulling my cp-3 inlet down to 4psi, i headed back to elko, repaired the batt and cable, replaced tst harness and had a 200 gph fass installed, turned the blow offs up and now boost is just into the 70s, ever since the sacramento trip my truck is a dogg, it will make 45 psi of boost with tst on 1x1 and ts on 0% is there a possibility my fca is not flowing what it is supposed to or do i need to add another cp-3 or the cp3. 4, truck is a daily driver 58,000 miles on truck and only about 3500 miles on the engine, truck is getting decent fuel economy at 75 mph is around 18-19. 5 and about 14-16 mixed driving, i have had a few people ask me about leaking connector tubes etc, but i dont think that is the problem since nothing internal has been touched since the engine build and i built the engine using snap on tools and torque wrenches as per service manual spec except the head studs per arp spec... ??????????????????????????:mad: :{ :{ :{ :mad: #@$%! #@$%! :{

Man, you're having a good run of bad luck... that sucks.

Anyhow, last time I dynoed with 3-flow injectors and modded CP3 all with TST 03 early twins the highest I could run was 5x1 with MP8 on 30% before I lost rail pressure. 5x2 without MP8 was OK; with MP8 lost rail pressure. 6x1 with or without MP8 lost rail pressure.

With each level of adding the Smarty, the TST level dropped one level. Makes sense to me.

Smarty + MP8 gave less HP than TST + MP8, but absolutely spanked the TST/MP8 combo on low end torque and produced the biggest and fattest HP/TQ curves (most area under the curve).

How's your rail relief valve? (So you're not building up enough rail pressure?)

Bad rail pressure sensor? (not getting the right pressure signal to the ECM?)

I HAVE HAD THE DRB 3 ON IT, AND I DONT HAVE A RAIL RELIEF VALVE ANYMORE, I HAVENT HAD THE DRB 3 ON IT DURING A HARD RUN, I MIGHT CHANGE THE RAIL PRESSURE SENSOR JUST BECAUSE I HAVE SPIKED THE PRESS PRETTY HIGH BEFORE, IT KINDA SOUNDS LIKE IM GOING TO DETUNE FOR AWHILE AND GO VISIT INDUSTRIAL INJECTION, I WANT TO ADD A MODIFIED RAIL AND DUAL CP-3 PUMPS, I ALSO WANT TO REMOVE THE HX-40 AND REPLACE IT WITH A SPS 62 OR PS64, IM GETTING ALL CONFUSED/FRUSTRATED, TWINS ARE LIGHTING LIKE NOBODYS BUISINESS AND THE BOOST IS THERE/ I THINK ITS TIME TO RETIRE THE DODGE AS A DAILY DRIVER, ITS JUST TOO HARD TO TUNE AND DRIVE THE SAME TRUCK EVERYDAY WITHOUT ALWAYS HAVING A PROBLEM, I WANT I WANT I NEED I NEED/ BUT IM TIRED OF WORKING OVRTIME... .
