Big Rig speed limit 68MPH? NHTSA wants it.

Pulling with a Plow...

A nice campground up this way is Big Bear Lake... . My cousin actually had Deer in his front yard while we were all sitting on the porch talking. They just stand there & eat. Big Bear Attractions are great too... . go carts down the road, swimming, waterslides for the kids. Mini Golf, fishing, tennis court, arcade, playground, great scenery & more. Another one in PA. for kids is Jellystone [yogi bear] Park.

Search for, Corps of Engineers Campground Guide. The guide can be obtained from any Corps of Engineers Resident Office or Corps of Engineers Recreational Park. You may be able to order it online.

I believe the link I posted above is the Corps 0f Engineers Guide, it is just that anything the government has anything to do with ends up being complicated to use/understand. :) bg

My wife and I are campground host's at East Ashtabula Crossing ND for the Corp of Engineers. Great place to stay and reasonable rates. The Amenities in some of the Corp campgrounds can be a little under rated for some people but most are clean with great facilities. If any of guys get up this way stop in and say Hi. www.recreation.gov is a good site for corp campgrounds.

I believe the one you posted is all US government facilities. The one I stated is only Corps of Engineers Recreation Areas. I don't have a link to it, but you can go to Ask.com, type in "Corps of Engineers Campground Guide". It will tell you how to obtain one. I have one which I obtained from my old co-workers at the Albuquerque District, US Army Corps of Engineers. I did a 34 year carrier in engineering with the Corps.

Patriot- Next time you are in the Jackson area, try Turkey Swamp Park. Its listed as Freehold, but its a stones throw on back roads to Jackson.

TSP is a County owned/run Park-Extremely clean, secure & quite. Most sites are big enough to hold the largest of rigs, as well as big buffers between sites.

Nice little fishing lake w/ rentals and the ball fields out in the back are always well manicured, and hardly ever used. Awesome hiking & bike trails.

I have been camping at TSP since 72.

Out in Pa, we make our annual trip to the Raystown area- as we love boating the lake. The Raystown Resort has nice camping, but you kinda have to pick your site right, or you will always have company.

The COE Park further north in Hesston is very nice, but not every site is waterfront, and it is first come first serve.

Just up the street from the Resort in Entriken is Trough Creek State Park. Beautiful place-clean, great hiking & biking. We always like to spend time there.

Viriginia's Eastern Shore offers Cherrystone CG. On the Bayside, we spent a nice weekend there. Place can get a little crowded-do yourself a favor & spend a Sunday nite there. Watching the Sunset on the bay with the Park to yourself is pretty cool.

Lets see some more East Coast posts...
