I have a friend with a 03 3500 and she just got the P0148 trouble code on the dash. I looked it up here and even a list I came across didn't list it. Any ideas? I'm trying to save her from a trip to the stealership. The truck is running very under powered. Thanks for any info you can share.

Any ideas as to what is causing it? At first I thought it might be the crank position sensor. There is a Banks 6 gun on it.

Most likely running out of fuel. Has the filter been changed regularly? Good clean fuel? Lift pump not keeping up with the program. If it is starved too long the CP3 may be damaged. What the code means is the pump can't meet the desired pressure the ECM wants. So it either has not enough flow in, or too much flow out.

That Code will Put the Six-Gun Into De-Fault (Stock) Mode,Check your Leads for Codes. (Red & Green Lights on Tuner),Do you have the PowerPDA or just the Six-Gun with girlie knob.

She has the Girlie Knob. I was thinking of bypassing the Banks to see if it clears. It's not my 03. Thanks for the info.

I hope she has the 8 pin jumper,Install it on the Tuner, than the tuner is completely bypassed, this will also enable the dealer to do diagnostic with no interruption from the Tuner.
