I am off to school sometime in August. I am headed to Austin, Texas. I was wondering if anyone knows of any good reliable shops in the Austin area so I can be comfortable racing my rig down there. Let me know, thanks.
Check out Hamilton diesel. Zack and his people are a full service outfit and they dooooo love that diesel performance. His shop is at Seward Junction. On HWY. 29 at US. 183
i agree, hamilton diesel has a good reputation in the central texas area... i have heard nothing but good things from/about the shop and the work... . monte
Good suggestion on All Star. Mike seems to have taken good care of my transmission... . now the truck on the other hand... I am not so sure. I got a call at about 7 AM this morning from Mike. "Call me as soon as you can. I got to the shop this morning and your window was broken out. " My heart sank. What a terrible way to start the day. Doesn't look like they got much though. No way to be sure however. Mike is cooperating well, and has even offered to replace the window for me. So the truck is going to be there another day. So tomorrow when I go to pick it up, we'll see what they got. But what a bummer, I get one thing fixed, and another thing happens.
I went to a shop in Lewisville after Cummins refused to work on my truck. Able Injector Service. Great group of guys and came highly recommended by Cummins. I will post up the number as soon as i get my truck back from the dealer.
