Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Turbo Recomendations?

I'm having trouble with an early 1-2 shift on the 98. 5 under anything but WOT. I have been told to have the PCM reflashed to raise the shift points. The dealers have been no help, and I have found very little searching on this. I figured if I had it flashed to the most recent software that it would take care of it, but when they plugged it in thay said that I am already up to date. I'm looking to find out what reflash or TSB# I need. There is also something about going into the PCM to have "severe service" enabled. This is suppost to raise the 1-2 shift point under part throttle. Can anyone help me out with this? Thanks.
 
Did you find your problem?

I have early 1-2 also and have replaced PCM and had latest software update.

Severe service update? where can I find info on this.

1-2-3 shifts are controled by the valve body and linkage ajusted correctly... 4 is controlled by the PCM and lock up controled by the PCM...

Thanks for your reply, but help me with this.

I put a 99 PCM in and my 1-2 shift went from 8 mph to 16 mph and 2-3 move up also, tho not as much. 99 pcm thru codes and disabled my ABS and turn off my OD light. P
 
Anybody with ideas about the early 1-2 shift? Appears that 98's are the worst for this. Can a tech selectively modify the PCM program?
 
Adjust the Kick down cable!!! About 1 or 2 ckicks out should do the trick.

Dodge's 47re is not really a eletric transmission like is suppose to be like GM had back in 1994 and for in 1989

The kick down cable doesn't help, I've had it way over adjusted and it still won't raise the 1-2 shift at part throttle.
 
It's a electronics issue. PCM related. Mine will shift fine with 99 PCM in it, but trips the ABS module and no overdrive light. Need someone to selectively program the PCM. Be nice if someone had a stand alone trans control that would adjust the shift points.
