Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Foil on TPS wire

Does anyone remember what issue of TDR the foil on tps wire was in?? Any info. Trying to fix my biddys truck, did the noise filter but want to do everything possible to keep the converter from lock-unlock problem.

It is the black wire with the brown stripe that comes out of the back of the Alternator. It has been so long since I did this to mine but I believe that is correct. Just install a DTT filter and you are good to go.

Already installed the filter, just wanting to go the extra mile.

If this is for the TC surging, you are aware there is a flash to eliminate the ECM's sensitivity to outside RF???



I had the TC lock/unlock issue after having my trans rebuilt by an independant trans shop... dodge flashed the ECM and the problem went away.



Just an option...
