Thanks, TDR Staff

Vote for me, TDG:truck of the month!!

Central Valley.

I wasn't going to hit the truck, but I made it look like I might T-bone a Ford 350 7. 3 PSD work truck, loaded with tools and tool racks and everything.

I took the "not warmed up yet detour" to 169 south to 9 east and back on 169 north to 49th deal. So, I'm cruising around the service drive and it's been plowed, like mid storm, so there's a good 2 niches of compacted snow here.

I'm doing 40 the last street before the bridge the truck pulls up to the stop sign and ALMOST STOPS for it, so I keep moving at 40, then he STARTS TO GO!!!! Quick judgment; if I slowed down to say, 20, I no issues, but the butthole I am, I keep moving at 40. Half way thought he turn he decides to gun it!

Goes into a slide and NAILS the curb and some tools fall off the top. He kept going! :).

He hits so hard he bounces off! This kinda hit most likely did some damage to that rear end.

I knew I had room to break should it came close. I'm not going to put my self in that predicament with out an out. Giving a good scare is fine with me :)

What really peeved me off here is:

There was no one BEHIND ME, or in on coming traffic AT ALL!. NO ONE AROUND AT ALL!

This retard as no reason to go PERIOD. Put me in danger cuz he's impatient. He earned bill to rebuild his axle as far as I'm concerned.

It's like, the majority of the driving public does not look 10 feet past their own nose! Every one should take a race car course once in their life, they'll learn why you look WAAAAAAAY down the track. ohh and turn your head and actually look out your side windows when you turn!. :)

Hell yeah, I would have waited till he was around the corner than picked up all his stuff:-laf Some might say this is wrong, but oh well:rolleyes:

Move to Florida, that's standard operating procedure down here, phone in one hand, makeup or razor in the other, just pull on out like you own the road. That's why God made train horns :)

here in MN we have right hand turns that just have a yeild sign. more then one time I have run people off hte road for not "yielding" to me. The stock horn has done me well. A train horn would be wicked tho.

I know it wasn't in the snow, but check out what happened to me last Tues.

Having someone pull out in front of me is a daily occurance. Soooooo many times it happens when I'm loaded and I don't want to Jeopardize $20K worth of cattle. One of these days it'll happen when I'm empty and soon after I'll be driving a new 5500.

not retarded enough to run a 2wd truck in the snow

2wd, open diff, 6 cement blocks in the bed..... I run a pair of studded snows.

I don't get stuck. ;)

I also don't pull out in front of people, esp in bad weather. I probably would have chased him so I could flip him off... or smoke him out

Gota love train horns for the average Joe that can't wait.

I don't have a problem with a bus or truck that's on the clock and want's a space in front of me when there's a long line behind, (without it being unsafe) but I REALLY dislike the people who come up to a stop sign and just sort of roll out if nobody is quite there-- Especially when I'm the only one on the road and I have to brake because of them. (like stopping and waiting for their turn to go is for other people)
