Its impossible to tell how fast the Beemer is going, buts its pretty impressive for a quad cab, loaded for work, running down the Beemer. I just hope the dodge did not end up running over that cop car.

if if were me, i'd be defending myself in court about a week after that guy's funeral. Too bad the guy in the work truck didn't have a radio to a flat-deck 18wheel throttle jockey up ahead. Nothing I would have liked more than to see a truck just ease on over and squish that guy and his beamer between 80,000lbs and those concrete hay-bales.

I think it's too bad that the police didn't accidently drop the dude off the bridge down onto the traffic lanes below, or perhaps let the mom have some alone time with him while he was cuffed. Of course she'd have a nightstick provided by an officer.



I was impressed by the 3rd gen too. The bimmer driver probably was too.

OK two things.
a) the best thing the cops did in this incident was rock the baby carrier on the hood of the totalled car
b) I smoked out a beemer today, smoked about 1-1/2 lanes of a 3-lane highway while accelerating to pass a group. Gee sorry. The beemer dude was ******, flashed high beems and chased for another half mile or more. .

Conclusion is:
a) cops like rocking babies
b) beemers need to be tamed with smoke, and lots of it. .

Ya know, I don't wanna make this into a political post, but come on, Americans are way too politically correct these days. The police should have wasted that guy the second that he popped thru his fancy little sunroof there. Because at the end of the day, really, what has/will this guy ever contribute to society? Absolutely nothing. Now we are paying for his cable TV and 3 meals a day. Its all about the rights of the criminals. Loser.



On a lighter note- I will speak from expirience- if that truck has 4:10 gears, he had to be pushing 3K RPM's at that speed.



Wasn't it nice of that idiot to turn on his 4 way flashers after he hit that car head on?? Yea yea, that's what I'd be worried about, my location not being known to the ambulance!

Seems to me the bimmer was probably low on fuel; the driver was just trying to get off right quick to refuel. Figure he might've had a half-tank of fuel when he started. And figure they'd covered 150 miles in two hours. Conclusion: he had to be running pretty low on fuel.



As to the lady driver, I'd've pulled out my camp chair, sat her down in it, and fed her an ounce or two of medicinal brandy. Then once her adrenaline was reasonably counter-balanced, she'd be in good enough shape to hold her baby without the kid picking up on her terror and anger.

The cops should have cuffed that guy and kicked him the head, left him on the ground then helped that woman and her passengers. They cared more about getting him into the cop car then the innocent bystander that was hurt by the jerk.
