Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Block heater, what brand?

What brand block heater does everyone use? Mine recently went out on my 2000 CTD. Is this a Cummins or Dodge only part?

Luckily I had just got my grid heater relays replaced. If both the relays and the block heater were out at the same time, I would have been without wheels.

I also have battery warmers from them,no matter how cold it gets the truck fires right up and is at operating temp in no time.

I too am interested in any info on these. i have to replace mine to. Is it an easy change? I put out a post a while back but didn't hear much. . good luck!

Try www.phillipsandtemro.com They are a block heater and cord company. They should have a downloadable catalog on their site. I haven't been there in a while but have the catalog.
