Breaker 1 9!

Smoky and the Mid-TN Bandits, got yer ears on? county mounty in the bushes, see them seat covers? 10 whatever!

Oh the airwaves are full of it now, ya'll have fun!

Doggone ole SquarePantsTires moved us offa this channel, and then I took over the other channel with ham crap. :p

Well, I never fail to be amazed at how quick the ol' 24-valve is. I think I hit the perfect combination of nozzles, electronics, and turbo on that one. It just spools crazy-----but then I got it stuck in the front yard the other morning. I might be a redneck.

But it's gotta go. :{ Gotta pay some taxes (not income!) and also get my bike fabrication bidness going.

Hey, what's that show on TV where they steal your truck and fix it up? This green one could use that. Major paint and body, new carpet and seats, headliner, dash, and a 5-speed with DualDisc, and the Dana 80. Well hell, while we're dreaming: sledpuller 66, DD camshaft, exhaust springs, ATS manifold, dry-cell batteries, winch bumper, winch, weight bracket, suspension blocks, and some fresh rubber. :-laf I'll take care of squaring up the stacks.

oh yeah, and some brackets for three two-way radios!:-laf :-laf :-laf

I ducked just then!;)

Zoom Banner

Hey all, it's Shay, Joe is getting rid of the Zoom Banner because of the new lights that he put in the shop and I figured that one of you might want it. I've got it in the truck, gimme a call if you want it at (615) 568-4543 (cell). I'm leaving next wednesday to go down to New Orleans for the wedding and then to Hawaii for a week, so catch me before that or after I get back, the 28th or so. I will talk to you all later on.

Thanks,

Jeff

Perfection's new 2007 2500

Well, I wish I could drive it over for the weekend, but that can't happen right now. Sorry, the truck has been so tied up I do not have any performance reports as yet, it is only on its second tank of #2.

It is rough. Needs front end work. Dowel pin and front cover done last year. 300,000+ miles. It has torque plate, not sure on #. Seat is wore out. I'll try to get a number posted.

Where I searched the MTPA board... ... all I see is "kill switch & balancer guard required..... rest of rules posted next week"... ... that was on the 7th?

On the left side of the home page, go to rules and skip down to trucks or something like that and it says, 6000 4wd, 9000 4wd, and Street Diesel Trucks. Most of it is the same as what we heard before. Although now in the rules is no blocked suspension, only one "programmer" and something else that I thought was pretty silly but I cant remember what it was now! I talked with Charlie Bowman from Woodbury this weekend and he has a HOT Farm tractor and he said that he thought this class would do very well. He mentioned that everyone that comes to MTPA pulls either likes 4wd trucks or the smoker tractors, and the diesel trucks have both, so it ought to do pretty well.

Well, they're a pretty good bunch... overall.

I think you'll have to join MTPA or pay extry fees every time.

The HB guard/shield I THINK can simply be a plate under the bottom. There's no other way it can come out. Talk to Joey or Jack or some other established puller in that bunch. And don't be surprised if you get different opinions.

I haven't looked at the rules. Don't have to. I'm too broke to risk breaking anything and my shop has been eaten up by antiques.

I did go up there year before last and tried to get some sort of diesel truck class started and they weren't interested. Don't know who got interested in the bunch, but we'll see. I would like for it to be a real street truck class, but am afraid that it'll turn into a trailer queen situation.

Maybe after a year or two of rules sorting out and head butting, I'll be able to git right in there and hook with 'em.

over.
