Ordered the NAPA BHAF today. $65 kinda hurt. Anways, I was wondering if you can hook the filter minder up to it. It'll be here tomorrw. Thanks

I threw mine out before I saw a couple of pictures posted with the filter minder in different locations.

1. The very end of that pricey filter was drilled and the filterminder was screwed or sealed into the top end. Looked good and was simple.

2. You will find more than likely the need for a six inch section of 4" exhaust to fit in between the filter and your factory rubber intake tube, also another stainless steel clamp. Now these other guys welded or threaded a brass bung fitting on the six inch section of steel pipe used for splicing your filter to the intake tube. Looked better coming up out of that bung stack just before the filter, but like alot of things on TDR some take more time tools and dollars!


Good luck, don't toss it in the trash yet. I am fine without.

When you get ready for another one, try Fleetfilter.com. The have the same filter for under $30 + shipping. I did the same thing, $55 from O'Reillys then heard about the site here.
