Ok did timing today and just wanted to make sure i did it right. I set the truck on dtc on compression and then put the dial indicator in the #1 dv hole and set between 7-9 mm and rotated counterclockwise till it stopped and then set to 0 then went back to tdc and took that measurement. Is this right? I got 6. 3mm which is 15. 5 right. thanks first time so i just want to make sure its right. Also when you turn the motor counterclockwise, when it stops moving are you stopping on top of the lobe or what cause my dail when up like it was right on the top of the lobe just wanted to see if that was how it worked or not. thanks
