Ordered a Phantom II Temp gauge (and a matching fuel pressure to replace the Phantom I, check the TDR ads Monday!!!)
Curious as to where to put the probe. Having not seen the kit yet, I'm not sure if I can utilize the drain plug hole or one of the other bolt holes that also allow fluid to drain out (all of them?). I this is the case, the more "middle" plug would be preferable as apposed to a bottom one I assume.
I've searched and the majority of these results show tips for you automagic transmission people. One member drilled and tapped the PTO cover in the middle and I think the FASS coolers have a tap already.
Suggestions? I'd like to not spend any more money and I don't wish to do a transmission fluid change just yet.
