low boost condition...

Wouldnt you know always when im getting ready to go on vacation... . Anyway my truck will normally make 23-24psi now i cant get it over 12. Seems to be running fine except its sucking fuel lke crazy. All the basics seem ok no noticable boost leaks. what do i check next? Seems to rattle more than usual too.

Check for boost leaks, on the boots, and the intercooler. Those plastic intercoolers are known for it.

sounds like it my be a bad sensor unplug the wire clip going to the cp3 while it is running and see if it runs worse if not may be the sensor on the cp3 or the one on the rail if it stays the same. if not you may have the same unknow problem as me and sever others more smoke no codes and lack of power and boost. see my post no power and black smoke.

I would check for codes before unplugging the CP3.

when you unplug you should get three fuel codes high pressure ect.
i won't hurt the truck but you need to clear codes afterwords

Not trying to be smart, but have you checked your air filter? Also your whole air intake for an obstruction, kind of sounds like lack of air. You do not have plastic intercooler tanks on an "03" so that is of no concern.
