Hey Bob do you know when updates for the second gen guys are coming out?

I think us 2nd gen folks have been kicked to the curb. It seems that all the hype (attention) is focused on updates to the 3rd Gens. Even though I have one on both my 2nd and 3rd Gen, I've been anticipating something wild being released for the VP'd trucks. Or was that all just marketing hype with regards to available future updates?

Can you at least tell us if any of the updates will be performance related?

We have had a request for more timing in program #3 to see if the hp would increase. The tq went up a little but no hp gain.



I see you bumped the other thread to the top.



Marco is just finishing another CR update. Chrysler keep updating their software release that make us do an update to.



This is very time consuming and Marco is still looking for a cloning machine :-laf

this is a chrysler software update release only. I already commented on the hp increase issue.



There will be some hp testing happening this weekend.

I am looking for a little more myself. I went with larger charger, dual pumps, modded rail, and soon to be larger injectors for a dyno day at the end of the month.

No nitrous oxide?

That truck is mine. It is the a program you guys can't download off there website. There isn't anything special about it as it is the very first tune Marco came up with. There isn't to many of them around. Here is a pic of the truck to verify it is the sameone as the April issue on page 14. It isn't the 2 that are in the mag but it is a side shot.

That is the sweetest 3rd gen I have seen..... very nice looking truck! That is what my truck would look like if I didn't use it/abuse it at work everyday!

Nice. I used to be anti-drugs, but now I just don't care how you go fast. So long as there is diesel fuel in the tank.

i was reading on another forum last night and ran accross a thread were a guy is testing a hotter tune of the smarty. that look like it will be released pretty soon. at least thats what i got out of that thread. the guy said it has some great top end. i hope he is right.

Robert, I hope you are right. I really would like to have the latest and greatest Smarty software with LOTS LOTS OF TOP END. I am still using the 306. 502 file.



Bob, Looking forward to running an aftermarket turbo/ aftermarket injector program on about level 7 with mild and moderate torque with LOTS of top end. And the same power down low with transmission shift improvements. Been patiently waiting. Thanks for all you do Bob/Marco!
