Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Transmission Temp Gauge

I recently have come in to a little extra money, I would like to use it to do a few necessary upgrades, such as a new lift pump setup, with a gauge. I also need to get some gauges for egt and boost, possibly trans temp(dont know how long i'm gonna stay with the auto). The thing is looking at The FASS and AirDogs systems, they seem to be out of my budget, Are there any other systems that would be reliable, and maybe a little less money? I have looked at the Glacier stuff before but lost the web address. I dont see this truck ever going over 500 hp so i could get by with a lesser system. I think I'm either gonna get the gauges from Genos or as a kit from Diesel Manor, since they are my most local supplier. I would love to buy a Fass or Airdog, but I need most of the money to repair worn out parts on the truck. Any input would be helpful.

A pusher pump mounted on the framerail will work fine... . Holley Blue from Advance Auto is $110 + fittings. Bullydog uses this pump in their Big Fuel Kit.

If I use the Holley Blue, would I still use the factory LP or bypass it, How reliable is the Holley?

Either way you want. With Holley only you will see 14psi idle & around 10 wot. With both pumps... . you'll see 20psi idle & 15wot. I ran a Holley blue for 10k miles problem free before giving it to my brother who has been running it 8000 more & still going. I found a Fass in the classifieds for $200 & couldn't pass it up. I was really surprised when I didn't get any better pressure than the Holley had from a 150/95 Fass pump.

I have been looking in the classifieds but there dont seem to be any rught now, I have seen them in the past though. I am not in a real hurry so I might just wait it out. I think the FASS is the way to go. If I do end up with a FASS, would i still run the factory fuel housing and filter or not?I have read the FASS has a feul heater in it so there wouldn't be any need for the factory unit.
