Anybody else?? I don't want to be alone...

why is the west still getting screwed on diesel??

For example a 7x18 injector. What does that mean exactly?

I am thinking 7 holes with . 018 diameter holes.

Thanks for any replies;

Jim

stock tips sizes

To my knowledge, stock 24v injectors use 7 holes 0. 0065 in diameter. 7 holes @ 0. 0065 produce fuel openings of 0. 00023 sq in. 7 holes @ 0. 018 open up to 0. 00178 sq in. Thats 7 times the surface area even with holes that are so small. Atomization has to be a concern if the fuel delivery system is left alone. Take your 5/8 garden hose off and hook up a 4 3/8 fire hose with that same water supply... watch her dribble. Balance and a slight increase in size seem to be the way the pro's (Don, Keith and Brett) seem to have taken their products.

I can now tell you that 7x18 injectors are too big for me to run on the road, with the box off there is a constant haze and if I step on it the road gets blacked out. I got these off e-bay and I think they'll be going back on there.
