Greetings one and all,

Looking for running boards for my ride. What type do you have and were did you get em?

Thanks in advance

I bought DeeZee "Guardians" for my 2005. They don't make them for the bed, but I've never needed them. They are made out of aluminum. The photo is not a closeup, but you will get the idea.

I put the Luverne full aluminum set including box boards on and they are great! Got them at the local Truck Stop. Check em out, they look great!

Here are mine:D I made them though, and I would actually classify them as rocksliders/grocery cart persuaders. I like them, but you need to be alittle more sure footed than with regular steps. My wife says they don't like her heels and platform shoes:-laf

very nice fab... what did you use as your hardpoint for mounting?,, the body bolts utilizing angle for stiffness?

I like yours very much

I got the chrome Dodge one's. I think they look great and I use them every time I use the truck. They have also held up better than I expected.

I used two pieces of large angle to wrap the frame with some heavy wall pipe coming out to the main tube. I add some gussets to stiffen them up also. The lower tube that you step on angles out just enough that it catches car doors and shopping carts about a 1/4" before the door panel. Had the guy that Rhinolined my bed do the steps also. I didn't need to drill the frame at all, used existing holes so they technically could be used on another truck easily. Can assure you they are strong too, have lifted both wheels off the ground with my high-lift jack before to rotate the tires. Have tied off to them when rappelling before also. Only regret is not making them run all the way back to the rear tire, Oh well... .

I just put on Owens Classic 7400 Series wheel to wheel with a 4" drop on my 2207. 5 Ram SRW 3500. They have a nice, wide, flat surface and split the difference - ground to truck. They make for an easy entry to my 4x4. They come in chrome or black. Fred

I have the J & J Millenium.

Would have liked the wheel to wheel, but not available.

Have these, and installed them myself.

Have installed them before on a previous truck.

Don't recommend them.

Next time going with a no-drill nerf or NFab. Or the factory units.
