Turned truck back to stock

Hey guys, tired of living with the worry of when my trans. is going to let loose so I took my boxes of. I was hard on it (by my standards, some people are harder on theirs than me)

Lots of guys here with a boatload of power mods will INSIST when they break something, that they ALWAYS drove their truck like a little 'ol lady going to church on Sunday morning... :-laf

I understand. Really do. But doesn't stock just suck now... .

Im thrilled with stock power compared to the 460 and 351fords. My 96 12v had 185 hp and that was more than I need. Now my 06 is alleged to have 325 hp but I cant notice much difference. I drive like a old lady so slow that the transmission doesnt shift rite. Shifts fine if i get on it.

Im getting used to it, plus I dont have to worry (as much) about replacing expensive parts. Im going to start sinking some money in my house now (better investment) and dont need the power I got anyway. I could do just fine with a 3/4 ton Hemi... ... Aahh on second thought:-laf

Or, tell the dealer the truck was stock, and want the fix covered under warranty.

Wouldnt do that, plus I have an EXCELLENT dealer in my town, they will fix just about anything.

That IS stock to me. Plus the injectors never felt like they made any difference any way. For the money I spent on all that, I figured it would have generated some seat of the pants "feel"
