I have an XM Roady unit in my 97 and want to also use it in the 06 with a factory radio with Sirius. Can I just plug the output wire from the XM into the Aux. port on the factory radio. That would sure make a clean install. And maybe when they get this XM Sirius merger done I won't have to have the Roady in the 06. I enjoy the trucker's channel on XM but can't stand the trucker's channel on Sirius. It is all sports or beer drinkin near as I can tell.

Thanks all.

If your radio has an "aux" input you should be able to just plug it in there. That's what I did with my XM...

aux input

I have a xm roady II. I was wondering, is the input on your radio is in the front or rear of the radio ?

I would have to disagree. I have had both and the Sirius "Road Dog" is a lot more informative, at least in the mornings. Last week for example they had a Texas and a Kansas DOT officer on answering questions. I like Mr. Mack but not as informative, at least from a truckers standpoint.

I would have to agree re: Bill Mack. The channel usually gets changed when he fires up. I guess I haven't listened to Sirius in the AM so I will check it out. It will be nice to have both to choose from and with the merger we may be able to listen to both with one radio.

Re: MZahn's question, the AUX is on the front of the 06 radio and it is on the left side of the channel changing preset buttons. In fact, it looks just like one of the buttons.

Thanks all for your help.
