Finally got the new tires and wheels on. Tires are Toyo OC A/T E's 275/70-17. Wheels are Cragar 8's 17x8. Offset is about -5mm.

I love the black on black look. I really wanted to get the KMC Hoss Wheels, but I could not afford them. Couldn't beat the $250 out the door for these Cragars from Jegs.

I have the stock gray steel wheels, but I rotate in the spare. Guess what? The spare wheel is the same wheel, just black instead of gray. I can't decide at this point if I need to paint one black wheel gray, or 4 gray wheels black! My son and I both like the looks of the black one.

You should get them all powdercoated black. DUH! Or even try to find an extra set somewhere, and get those powdercoated black. Now you have a set of black and a set of gray.

Straface, I bet your truck is a rocket! I like the look... .

Yeah, it's a different look. But thats the fun part, building something different that you don't see everyday. Just wait until I get my latest exhaust creation on there. Then you'll really think it's different.

Great looking trucks guys.

N Balsden - how much and what kind of lift do you have on your truck?

I love the look of black trucks.

any contact between tire and wheelwell/suspension components up front w those 35s?

The front tire just rubs the mud flap at about 1/3 turn if you are turning and on the brakes or if you are backing up and turning. It rubs so lightly that its not even notice able. I have some dodge front mud flaps on that I would say are very thick (about 3/4 of an inch) that mount on the inside of the wheelwell. If I changed to one of the other styles that I have seen, that sort of mount behind the wheel well it wouldnt touch. It doesnt touch the control arms or rub anywhere else.

Very nice trucks. It's killing me that I still have the stocker tires on mine. I messed up and bought Toyo MTs and decided I'd rather have the ATs. Never mounted the MTs and need to unload them to justify buying another set.
