We are very close to finishing production of our new intake manifold line. I'm looking for your input on the base color to offer these intakes in. After seeing these in different colors I'm having a VERY hard time deciding on the base color for release.

Here's your chance to help direct our new line. Let me know what you would like to see.

ANY FLOW RATES COMPARING THESE TO STOCK INTAKES ON A 04 DODGE CUMMINS ? PLEASE GET BACK TO ME ?:-laf

Cummins Tan! I wish our engines were this color like some of the older big cams. IMO they look better than their new red colored engines in the big trucks.

Every manufacturer has a signature color. For example, Banks is red. For those who dress up thier engine bay, they would want to match hoses, etc. So, maybe you would offer a specific signature color like blue as the standard color, and have other colors as an option for an additional price? I myself would prefer it in polished aluminum. By the way, are you going to offer a couple ports? Also, how about the mounting tabs for the 2-micron filter, will they be on the intake? Just little tidbits of info to tide us over, thats all.

I like it an all, but I would rather someone come up with one that replaces the whole plenum plate instead of just the 'tubing'. I want to see one that forces the air to be distributed more evenly to all cylinders rather than 3 and 4 being forced the most air simply because of where the plumbing comes in the head at.

that would be neat. . make it out of a few pieces so you can slip the lower section in without removing the injector feed lines [if possable] then have the upper piece bolt to the lower section so the HP lines are being fed through the intake, and have the horn coming from more or less the center so there is good volume and distribution in the head [heck if i had the time and tooling, and a spare head, i would be creating one, or trying to. . ?]

The next step in the intake chain after this intake would be something like the ZZ here:

Of course, that represents quite a price jump from the GDP, and you have to take the cylinder head off to have it machined before you can install it.

While there is no formal pricing for the Swanker yet, I believe they were planning on hitting a price point very close to the GDP's. As far as I can tell, they are the same intake with the only difference being that the GDP is in production, and although they have been "working on" the Swanker forever, as near as I can tell they are no closer to production now than when I placed myself on their preorder list over six months ago.

I want one of these really bad, and placed myself on the GDP preorder list the same day Richard started this thread.

drury.

Thanks for the link. After I posted here I went to the GDP site and checked it out, NICE. I too put my name on the pre-order list. Looks like it might be out in a couple weeks. Since my birthday is next week, what better thing to get myself - something for the truck.
