Not that i do this all of the time, but the other day i tried it and it did nothing.

The truck is an 06 2500 4x4 LWB Larime. It has the Quad XZT and the AFE Bruit Force air system on it, erery thing else is stock.

The truck runs very strong, but will not spin the tires if you power break it. Is this normal.

Thanks,

Is your truck and auto? If so thank DC, the torque converter is very loose. But once you get the tires to slip in the ground you can spin till the cows come home.

I found giving it some throttle and easing off the brake pedal slightly and letting the truck just barely start to roll then pedal down on the gas and stompin the brakes itll kick em loose and I could sit there till the tires blow... thats what works for me-stopping and then hittin the gas will do very little

6 speed isn't that hard, just work the brake with the heel of your right foot and the gas with the toe. Third gear really gets the smoke rolling with 35" tires!

Get an aftermarket torque converter (maybe an up-rated valve body too... )

I just hold it barely stopped with the brakes and work up a little boost (wait till you can hear the turbo sing) then ease off the brake a little - maybe add just a little fuel... wheee!!!... fun... and expensive.

Gotta baby it like this with gassers too. Torque management and ABS means you have to play with it a bit.
