Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 1693 & what does this mean

I just checked for codes and I have a 1693 & 0500-no vehicle speed sensor? whta is it telling me? What is 0602? I could not find what this means?. .

1693 is a companion code... . meaning it just pops up to let you know a fault code is present. 0602 & 1693 are codes set by Smarty... . we all have those.

If you really want to know, 0602 is ECM Fueling Calibration Error and turns on the CEL.

Not with a smarty. Only levels 4-9 set that code, not to worry.

Is this anti lock brakes or engine related?
