I noticed this morning that I have neither tail lights on the left rear, nor license plate lights. All other lights seem to be working... left front, left rear brake& turn sig, all right side lights are working OK. The factory trailer plugs seem to be working OK also.

I work out of town, leaving Monday AM and returnig Thursday PM. We plan to leave on vacation on Friday. I have an appointment for my wife to bring it to the dealer Monday morning (28,000 miles).

Does anyone have any suggestions, other than leaving wife and truck in the hands of the dealer?

The taillights not working are a problem from what I got from the dealer when I purchased a new taillight assembly for about 20 bucks. The bulb was fine but something inside the grey plastic housing is broke and you have to buy all new to get the taillights working again. As for the license plate light that is probably a burnt bulb.

Hope this sorta helps.

I recently had my left brake lights go out, and the bulbs were good. I had to buy the "Module" inside the assembly ($15. 00) and that corrected the problem. Mine is an 03', and has 66,000 on it.
