The new valve cover will compliment the silicone hoses I have... Maybe I will take the intake horn off and paint that too!!

Thanks guys!

The blue silicone hoses are doing real good. In fact, with better clamp from Mr. Bob don't blow off at 35# anymore. . good enough for me...

My stock ones would blow off with my B1 quite a bit until i upgraded. -----First time scared the heck out of me---i had no more underwear to change into after that---even my dad towing behind me heard it go---he thought i blew the motor when he saw me pulling over.   DW

Ok. .

DWeiler. .

I have been looking for those underhood pads like that for along time. I had a link to them at one time and lost it in a computer crash. Can you tell me who makes it or provide me a link to them if possible?... ..... Andy

ditto my stock ones all raggety . the first time my boots let go it was at 38#boost ! thought i grenaded the turbo till i heard it still whining and no power. "did he have clean underwear on?"... "yes maam,we found them in the glove compartment!" BC himself lol

Its here--- Untitled Document Look in the transportation link under pre-Dodge applications, they make a bunch of stuff for the 3rd genners too. Hold onto your wallet cause i bought mine 2-3 years ago and it was around 400. 00US and the price only goes up with time. On a positve note, they are VERY well made-must weight about 20-25LBS+,good stitching/quality and quieted my ride down a bit too ---no complaints here. Hope this helps----DW---PS They are a TDR supporter too, they advertise on the banners on the top of the page.

is that a tial BOV on the blue truck?

Nope---BD Turbo Guard---meant to do the same thing, yes it works(mostly) but it needs some fine tunning to have it work properly. Before the install i could "bark" this B1-2 with nearly every shift if if i was on the go peddle, now i just get a PSSST,PSSST,PSSST when it engages---no bark(works off the apps, you adjust as to when it will open based on the position of your peddle). Pretty $$$$ though. Hope this helps

I just thought of something. . the blue color is an engine enamal ceramic paint and I bet the blue color is Supposed to be for the Ford V-8's... . !! oh well...
