this is a little off the wall, but how does the turbo sing? pretty loud? I hope so Id like people to hear the turbo screaming as I pass (especially the psd/dmax's)

OMG what a beautiful turbo, i WILL be sending in my sledpuller 66 for an upgrade, both polished housings, and a turbine upgrade.

I knew it. I knew it. I knew it!

ZStroken, I TOLD you, man!:{

Let me guess, the new stainless steel 16 exhaust housing and dual wastegate ports.

Dang. :mad:

Now we need stainless exhaust manifolds to match the pretty turbos. Kind of a bummer hanging all that bling on a rusty crusty old manifold. :D

HTTss64/13 test

Well, after testing the HTTss 62/13cm which is awsome for towing, I just installed the HTTss 64/13cm (golden nugget) Now this is another cool turbo. Lag is just a tad more then the 62 however, the top end is a screamer. Since I'm not going to race anymore, I wanted a turbo that I could get good daily driver performance and be able to pull my 12k 5th wheel. Well, the HTTss 62/13cm fit the bill. Cool running, good spool etc. However, HTT talked me into trying their ss 64/13cm for a little more performance and hopefully still be able to tow. Well, the 64/13cm is much more than I expected. This thing not only runs 100*+ cooler then others, it spools on the top end like a 66 !!!!! There is no surge issues at all with this turbo, it flat out spools great. To be honest, I haven't towed my 5th with it yet, however, if it performs just "ok" I'm keeping it on..... Oo. I would recommend this turbo to anyone with moderate upgrades ie. , injectors, fuel boxes, fuel pumps, air intake etc. , Moderate light towing as well. Heavy towing 62/13

Heavy fueled, competition, twin, sled pulling etc. Pro street 66/16cm or maybe a 66/13cm???? Haven't tried that combination yet, but that maybe the altimate drag racing combination?

how much did that HTTss64/13 run ya?

I've been Beta testing them for HTT so it has been on an exchange basis, with each one I've tried. Call HTT and speak to Dave, he will give you pricing or will get you into touch with a distributor in your area.

At what RPM are these turbo's lighting? Does the 64/13 smoke more than the 62/13?

Matt, good question. As far as smoke the two turbos are so close, I can't tell the difference. It all depends how much fuel you are tryin to push through them. Once they spool up they clean up real good. The major difference between them I have found is the top end performance. 64/13 keeps on going strong from 70 MPH + where the 62/13 at 70 MPH + although stills goes not nearly as fast. They both will start to go around 1500 RPM. The main thing is these charges run cooler 100* + on average, cool down real fast, and don't have surging issues.

I saw a dyno sheet that showed that the Golden Nugget 66/16 produced 580hp and the same truck with a Silver Bullet ran 62hp more? Is this true? It looked to me to be true!
