See what you guys think. I came up with this simple mount for those who have fuel boxes and do not like to velcro them to the fuse box. It is easy to install and will exept different boxes. It adjust from 1 1/2 inch down to 1 1/8 inch for thickness. Both ends are open so lenght should not be a problem. All that needs to be done is just pull your battery out set the L bracket in battery tray and put you battery back in. put your fuel box in the clam shells give it a little squeeze and tighten it up. It hangs on very well and looks good to. Let me know if there is any interest . ;)

nice work. Did you fab ur self.
Yep i did the fab. I made this out of brushed stainless fo better duribilty. I got tired of opening the hood and seeing my fuel box just hanging on by the wires. It has been kinda slow but i do all this stuff in the evening when i have nothing better to do. My wife passed a few years ago so i just stay busy building stuff for my truck.

I think that is an awesome idea and it looks great. Yep, I am interested pm me with a price.

thanks
I have not worked out any pricing just yet but they will not be bad at all. I may go to doing it all out of aluminum. Stainless is sky high right now so it will help on pricing. Drury had an obsevation of will it fit 2 boxes. I think that is a good point. The guys that are running two fuel boxes if you will post the thickness of your two boxes togther i will do a little more work on this and make it so it will hold two fuel boxes if you guys are interested. Thanks for your input.

Ahhh, a man of many talents, stainless AND aluminum:-laf Real nice work, really. :D

How about I ship you a milk jug of pennies and you can just melt 'em down?:-laf That should be enough copper... If Dodge still used that bronzish color paint they had in the late 90's copper would look pretty sweet, specially polished with a hammer finish:D

You got an idea there. Could do one and send it to the powder coater and have it done in the copper hammer coat they have. That would be kinda cool. Heck i may have to send mine to them and have it done in the candy red like my intake... More options i guess.

The red you have under your hood does look sweet. Is that anodized or a colored clear powdercoat? The more I think about, the more I may ask permission to stop by for a visit while I'm in CO this July... .

All of the billet aluminum is red anodize. My intake is done with a base coat of chrome powder and then a candy red over that. Man it really look cool in person. I am thinking about having all the aluminum parts clear powdered to make them shine and give them the deep look of the intake. If you are here in July stop by i would be glade to show you around and let you see what i have been up to.

Looking under the hood of your truck almost makes me wish my truck was a different color. Charcoal grey underhood accessories don't catch your eye quit like those red's under your hood. Though, I have found a metallic gray Rustoleum paint at ACE that goes well with my truck:-laf

I'd love to stop in for a tour this July, always like checking out others garages/shops and drooling over what I hope to aquire eventually:D I hate moving my lawnmower everytime I need to move my air compressor to get to my welder so I can get to the outlet to plug in my grinder..... you get the idea:-laf

Hey, the engine bay is just another room in the house. You don't have to paint them all the same!

Thats true, actually thinking about the blue that matches the silicone hoses and the hose on my turbo, though a gray wrinkle finish might be sweet also...

That is pretty sweet, I've seen some paint that hard a kinda marbled look to it also, wonder how close they would compare. That powdercoat definitely match my truck though. In you pic, is that a plate over everthing? I imagine it would have to be to powdercoat, don't see any metal dashes anymore.
