I'll add some of my videos to this thread. :D

Got one for just about everyone with pics of all three days/pulling of mine along with Tom's truck, Clint Cannon's truck, Scott Vorhees' truck and a marroon '06 dually that I never got the owner's name.

I came in fifth in my class and I believe second or third in Pahrump(still have not heard FINAL results for that pull) but there were clearly much better trucks out there than mine.

Good hooks Joe,your truck is strong. Thanks for the vids,it helps me tune alot when I can see differant angles.

Thanks Dave, yeah, watching my Pahrump video over and over helped me decide which tire pressures and hitch height to run for the next day @ Vegas. Definately need to make some suspension changes though to keep my front end down during the pull, not to mention get me the ability to put more weight on the front end. :)

Joe, lift the bed and start cutting crap of the frame you don't need, you will be suprised how much you can shift forward. I can't recall if you had a tailgate on or not either. as you already know hang as much as you can on the front.

Good hooks, and good vids :D

Thanks Scott and Craig,

Scott, yeah, I removed the tailgate, rear bumper and started removing things like the stock leaf spring over-load tabs on the frame before Vegas. I think right now the next step is getting some smaller lift coil springs for the front, re-design the front cab mounts to clear the DC long arms when it gets lowered and take the dual shock kit off the front and just go with one shock per tire since thats all I need. I may eventually lower the rear some but I think it is at a good height right now just need to work on the front and get some more weight hanging on it. I need to run the thing out of fuel and start keeping track of exactly how much is in the tank since the gauge is worthless for accuracy. Then I can start adding weight to the front to get me as close to 8K as possible.

Craig, hopefully there will be another Tulare pull coming up soon for me to return and put on a show this time. :-laf Definately have Turlock and some of the other smaller pulls like Gustine and Newman on the calendar. Not going to be able to make it to the J/H rally up north but am actually going to try to put something together for the Texas DHRA event but that is all a big "hope" right now. Gotta sign something like that off with the wife about a year in advance. :-laf

Joe, there is some weight to be saved in cutting out the whole spare trire bracketry as well. Be carfull in removing the second shocks up front when you add the wieght you may need them. IMO your goal should be to get the wieght to were your not bottom out the shocks and the wieght won't let them fully exstend. You get into trouble if you start bouncing and either exstending or bottoming them all the way. You should have the rear sitting a little higher then the front for proper wieght distribution.
