2 Wheels+ diesel=Fun

My brother and I took Mom out today for Brunch and he told me he bought a 05 F350 with a 6. 0 PSD. The look on my face must have said it all, because he just said... . WHAT??:-laf He didn't buy a Dodge because the frames break in 1/2???? I didn't even waste my time talking about it. I told my 10 year old nephew his dad is welcome to use my trailer and my 92 when he needs to haul the Ford home:-laf Funny thing, he showed up at the restaurant in his old Durango:-laf

Poor Poor man. He has a Dodge product and still bought a ford. My boss did the same thing a year ago. I asked him how he liked his ford... quote" It is the biggest rolling piece of s@#$ I have ever owned. " I asked why, He said" It has been in the shop 13 times, in a little over a year. from loose bumpers to a blown trans, to completely blown cabin electronics. Plus he have never seen better than 13mpg. He said he drove Dodges for ever and he wanted a change. Too bad for him. Funny thing is, is he bought the ford cause he said he thought it was capable of towing more.

There ain't no helping some people.

What surprises me is with all the diesel knowledge out there people will still buy V-8 diesels.

If Dodge would do a commercial showing the Cummins crankshaft, larger rods & 7 ( not 5 ) main bearings they would sell many more trucks!

No offense, but when someone says something like this out of utter ignorance there is no point whatsoever arguing with them. I just nod and say "well, I guess that's true".

Last week someone told me that Dodge's are horrible because "they're always the lowest rated". When I asked "lowest rated for what?", he replied, "you know, the lowest rated". At that point I simply began nodding and agreeing with whatever he said.

Good news for Ken and Dawna, perhaps they'll have another Ford conversion soon! :-laf

saw a 2006 f350 dually today hauling a 4 car double stack trailer. it was six speed, and the poor rear end of that truck was bottomed out. when i saw a county water truck with a full tank pull away from the light faster than him i knew the mighty stroker was at is finest. :-laf ive acctually seen many dodges do this exact thing with more cars and pull like a ox on steroids. the TSC where i work is just down an embankment from a major highway, and i will ocasionally see a dodge cummins runnin through the gears witha car trailer.
