I just had mine replaced at 160K. After a little digging, I find that 160K seems to be a lot for ball joints, especially towing like I do (gross 40K regularly). I'm just curious to see how mine stacked up against others.

New ones are Moog K7448 and K7467. Greaseable and adjustable. Truck steers easier now too. Wasn't expecting that. Maybe that because I also have new axle joints too.

180k on mine and still going, doing a check in the next week or two, now if I can just find a 5600 that will work/last correctly!

I had mine replaced at about 44 or 45k under the extended warranty only had to pay $100 for the detuctable pretty much paid for the extended warranty total job would have cost $1000 out of pocket.

Shoot, I voted without reading the question. I thought the question was "how many miles on your ball joints?", which is different from "when did you replace your ball joints?". I screwed up.

Haven't replaced mine yet (72k).

my 04 had 3 sets done before 38,000 when I traded it in. Also had 9 tie rods, and 1 steering box. hopefully the 05 is better!

Not sure if you meant this to be 3rd Gen specific, but my 02 had them last about 80K, new ones are doing good, as far as I know... .
