yea i gave it a thought as that's not too far up the road but i have too many projects right now, right in the middle of building a stroker motor for my bmw 325is and then supercharging it once it's broken in, then ill start bombing the truck, and in the mean time a fairly decent looking 6 series bmw came in to the shop with a dead motor that i can get cheep and i got the idea to wedge a 5. 0 v12 from a 750il into it with a 5 or 6 speed and remote mount a pair of turbos in the back and then theres my granddads truck to restore/hotrod

Absolutely. You might have to change the fan location, water inlet and outlet, turbo location, but the basic engine is the same.
