Here I am

Chrysler has been Purchased

Attention: TDR Forum Junkies
To the point: Click this link and check out the Front Page News story(ies) where we are tracking the introduction of the 2025 Ram HD trucks.

Thanks, TDR Staff

Last day you can help out.

Diesel is cheaper then gasoline

I have been told by multiple people this week that Chrysler was purchased by a Canadian company

Diamler still owns a percentage less than 20% to be able to honor warranty issues.

The Canadian company plans to make Chrysler a profitable company again. I guess all we can do is hope for the best. I was shocked when I heard the news because a few months ago Chrysler was talking about purchasing GM. I have been saying for years that I predict one day there will be a monopoly on all the auto manufactures until the government steps in.

A few months ago I was hearing GM was interested in purchasing Chrysler not Chrysler talking about purchasing GM

This has been all over the news and this website, among others. We really don't need multiple threads on multiple boards. The details are on the website front page, BTW.

I was just checking Cerberus Capital Management out on the internet
They own a lot of companies!
a short list

ANC rental (National and Alamo car rental. )
Debis AerFinance (an aircraft leasing business)
Norh American Bus Industries
Optima Bus
Blue Bird Corp.
They also own the parent of Air Canada
They own 51% of GMAC
BUSHMASTER FIREARMS! (free AR15 with every Ram ;) )
Remington Arms
TV stations and the list goes on

Sorry my bookmark is for the forums page

I guess I was given wrong information I am glad it was purchased by an American company

What was the error? He said American. Canada is in America, like in North America. The US is the United States (federation) of America. Put yer noodle away man... :-laf

But with a co that has a name of "Cerberus" there's concern to be had. get the noodle back out ... :-laf

Read the article from the link earlier in this thread, it explains what's going on. Spooky enough it eludes that the ram line might be in decline (like the home market which keeps on building) go figure... Nite all. arthr

TowPro, No Freightliner is a part of Mercedes Trucks and Detroit Diesel is part of DC mostly D(even though it was C's money that bought Detroit Diesel).

This should be interesting since Ive worked for several large companys that said they were in it to make product, when in fact they sold off the technology and company piece by piece. It will be neat to see what they do in regards to pension \ benefits for now , and retired persons.

Most "holding co`s" are all the same, a bunch of snakes !

They start giving away free AR-15s with every new ram, i might just go get a new one. :D But then again in my bass ackward state, they might start requiring us to register the truck as an assault weapon and take a course on how to use it. :-{}

Then tell us if we do use it we might get sued and or arrested#@$%!

He admitted to an error (thought it was CAN company (Magna), not US (Cerberus)), so "we" ordered the apropriate punishment. :D
