Saw a ULSD commercial on the TV yesterday..

Amazing the amount of money some idiots will throw away!

And I bet if he looked at your sig he may say the same thing about you! To each their own, some like performance, others like lifted trucks. One things for sure it would be easy work on. No topside creeper needed on that truck. I saw one like that (chevy gasser) and the owner was in a wheelchair. He could just roll up and slide right in, no need to climb up.

I have no problems if the trucks performance is benefited, but that took a perfectly good truck and made it a waste of money.

While I have no use for the "Drag" setup, where stupid kids put airbags in their rides to make them literally drag and make sparks, the truck actually looks pretty sharp at aired up height. It would probably make good MPGs on the road that way. I wouldn't put 22" rims. Maybe a set of Alcoa 20s with a decent sidewall, so it didn't beat me to death on rough roads. Maybe 65%, or even down to 50% but not those "no-profile" "pimp-daddy" tires. Actually, the "no-pro" tread doesn't look too out of place on a low-slung truck, but they look ridiculous on a normal height truck or SUV, esp a 4x4. They just SCREAM "Rapper Wannabe. " Wouldn't have, regardless.

Is that "Oasis" thingy the air system??

Yup, I'd say that Oasis thingy is the air system. At least the builder spent the money on a good air system to get that puppy up and down.

I agree though, a lot of guys would look at our trucks and call them money buckets as well. I mean after all, they come stock with 300 HP and 610 ft/lbs. There's nothing better then a bombed truck, but I could see how the argument about a terrible investment could be made. IMO, anything that costs you large sum's of money, and isn't eventually going to make you that money, plus some, back in the future, is a bad investment. It's just... when it comes to my Dodge, I don't mind wasting money on it. I know I'm never going to see that $6K I dropped into the transmission again, but I enjoy the added benefit enough to make it seem logical.

All I'm saying is that people "waste" their money on stuff that may seem useless to us, but if it's something that they're passionate about, such as our passion for our trucks, then all the power to them.

Kinda like the Chevy I saw today. A 4x4 in Indiana with sand tires? Sharp looking rig, but not very functional. More power to them. Well, maybe not power, per se. I didn't see what engine. Regardless.

Some of you guys crack me up.

That truck has air bag suspension... inflated it'll be not much lower than stock, and ride much better. The 'in the weeds' look is with the bags fully deflated. It's for looks, not to be driven in that state.

All I see is a 2wd dually with a little bit of suspension work and some big wheels. What's so bad about that?

somebody's try at making a dodge look like a lowered cheby can we say Useless Junk I personally wouldn't give ya a dime for it . but thats just me .
