Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Can I run w/ Snow Stage 2 turned off?

It has an on/off switch. But will turning it off bleed off boost? Or does the pump prevent that?

I have no problems what so ever! I run mine off all the time unless making some good runs!

There is a gray plastic check valve that goes inline between the pump and the nozzles. The check valve keeps the boost from going back through the pump.
