Hey All,

I hauled a refrigerator to Goodwill this weekend and tore up my bedliner pretty bad. It is a spray-in liner, Linex I believe. It was sprayed at the Dealer I guess, because when I bought the truck new it was already in. All of the damage appears to be on the tailgate, some nearly dime-size chunks have been torn out. Anyone have any ideas how to fix? Is there a spray can bedliner available for touchup? I know it is a truck, but it is damn disappointing... ... . Anyone have ideas of a cheap fix?

Thanks for your time,

Brent

Some of the auto body supply stores have a small kit to do-it-yourself that you can use for the repair... . I'd see if you have a label in the bed, Line-X, Rhino, etc and go to that dealer for a quick patch... .

I've also seen some Duraliner material at some of the ACE Hardware stores.....

Good luck

I have line-x in my bed also and the same happened to me. I called a dealer in my area and was going to cost 150. 00 to fix it. Still looking for another option.

I was under the impression that line-x, rhino, etc. were guaranteed against that type of damage. At least that is the line the installer gave me when I had the Rhino done in my last truck.

Hey, what gives!? I thought Line-X had a nationwide unlimited warranty? I've always assumed that if I damaged mine I could get it fixed for free.

Line-X is warrantied, and I have the same problem you do. I'm missing a couple of chunks out of mine, and I'm sure it's because the Line-X dealer did a hasty job and didn't scuff up the bed very well. I know this because the paint looks brand new under the small spots where the Line-X has come off (there's only a couple). I also have a spot on the front of the bed where my ATV bumper rubbed a hole clean through... :O But they supposedly do have a lifetime warranty.

When I called about a warranty repair, the dealer I contacted said they didn't have time to do it, and I wasn't going to wait a month down the road. I still haven't taken it in.
