I'll more than likely be there. I've got to get in on a local pull since the Centerville one is this weekend, the same weekend as Indy... so I won't be at that one. I enjoyed the Dickson pull last year, so I'm sure I'll be present.

Thanks for the responses and the offer of help. I am going to try a local muffler shop that a friend told me about, that does good work for a reasonable price. (he said) BTW Telford TN is in the Tri-Cities (Bristol, Johnson City, Kingsport) area of northeast TN, not far from the North Carolina and Virginia state lines. I don't get down around Nashville very often except when working. I am a Paramedic with the local Ambulance service and we do mental health transports for the Veterans Administration hospital in Johnson City. They send most of those patients to Murfreesboro, so I get that far every now and again.

Track was good, much better than last year. Barry/Duramax (Underwood Tire customized) showed out. Placed first in 3 classes.

Beast Killer was having linkage issues of some sort, we finally got it figured out that the right gear was in between 2nd and drive??? 2. 5 maybe??? After we got that figured out we had the longest pull of the night in the 10,200 class by 30ft... of course that was the last class of the night, but she looked sweet. It hit overdrive and turned into a rocket... Kinda worked out good I guess for the "customers"

Oh yeah, if you haven't figured out it's Gap, not hunt and peck Joesup!

P. S. Andy has a hotrod Honda Odessy that could have taken the 2wd class, it was "row row row your boat" slow.

Big Papa is a stud, the king of all sled pulling tools, "It's in the back of the truck!" We always appreciate ya pappy!!!

Had a good time. Glad to see the KILLER get a good pull. I beleive Joe would have beaten Barry in the others if not for the techinal difficulties. Joe got'er figured out at the end. I suspect a different outcome Saturday night at Grinders Switch.

I wish I could have gotten more pics of Joe. Dadgum lil' camera. Barry just happened to walk up with his trophy so I snatched that pic. Sorry Joe.

The Killer was VERY impressive on those last 2 pulls. When she shifted right before 200' I thought he was going to pull that sled all the way to White Bluff.

It was good seeing everyone there last night. I had a lot of fun! That stuff can be very addicting.



Thanks to Joe, Gap, and Scott for shedding the pounds off my truck to get into that 7200 lb. class. Also for all the access to your tools Scott. Very much appreciated.



I wish I could make it to the Grinders Switch pull, especially since it's my local track in the back yard... but I must leave for Indy right after work. Good luck to all of you pulling there.

Who's going to Centerville tonight? I'd like to go but it sure is a long way and all those hotrod trucks sure take a lot of time. Looks like we may be in for another shower like they had there last year, too.



Ahh... it'll be worth it to see Joe in the Killer beat them Stoner boys.

Last year it was under a pavilion. Kind of a short pull, couple of guys hit the hay roll stopper. Joe and Gap showed well with the Silver Bullet and Ol' Smokey last year.

God Speed

Last night Red past away ( Gap's Daddy) Gap went to see him at a new dirt track he was helping to get started sat. and from what i understand i car stalled on the starting line and Red was going across the infield to push the car out of the way with his 4 wheeler and went across a drainage ditch and flipped it. It broke his neck and severed his spine. arrangements are being made. i will try to keep you posted. lets keep the family in our prayers.
