Look at the bottom of the housing where the mirror bolts onto the door. There is a screw/bolt/hex thing in there you remove. Then the mirror just bolts on the door from there.
Sorry I cant get more specific but on my truck it was a screw and a hex so I figure somebody lost one and put another in of the same thread.
With your LE and electric mirrors removing them will be a little of a pain. As mentioned here, remove the torx screw, the chromed housing lifts up the shaft supporting the mirror. Then you can remove the three hex nuts. (10mm or so). The kicker with the LE is that with electric mirrors, the wire from the mirror motors goes through a hole in the door and you have to unplug the mirror harness from the door harness. I don't know if there is enough slack in the door harness to pull that plug without pulling the inner door panel. I will check it out.
If you are meaning to extend the mirrors out so you can just see around your RV, I think you are out of luck. I have had them apart and do not remember any way to do that. Wish they did. :{
