Changed vehicles, Cat forums anywhere?

I just traded my Dodge PU on diesel pusher motorhome with a Cat C12. Are there any good similar forums like this that anyone knows about for that kind of engine? I found out about this one from John Holmes of Carson City Dodge.

Have a 430hp C12 in a T-800 KW. Gutsy little engine. Needs more power to keep up with ISX500 we have in the other KW, though. :-laf

The C12 gets some pretty decent mileage, too.

What weight does the T-800 usually have to deal with? My motorhome is around 35,000# GVW I think. I don't know if you can compare whatever a T-800 is with a motorhome (Allison 6 speed trans. ).



I was pulling about 20,000# (plus) combined with the 05 Dodge PU and I haven't really driven the motorhome yet. Still trying to get things squared away. (625lbs/ft torque compared to 1550 lbs/ft torque. ) Don't start with the math, I don't get it.

80,000#. Sometimes more, if the grain cart operator gets carried away in the fall. The bullrack pulls harder, though. More wind resistance.
