It either has to go in the pan are in the line. : Diesel manor makes a inline

adaptor for the line.

I bought a line for a '94-'95 truck. It already had the fitting for a sensor.

Before getting the DM adapter, check your line for flat spots under the plastic clamps. My line was almost worn through. VERY thin. Replaced the rest of the steel and rubber lines at Goerends, when the transmission was put in.
