Just make sure to zip-tie the boost line. I just slipped the hose on the barbed fitting, and it worked its way off under throttle one day.



No biggie, I just listened to a hiss for a while.

Ive got the 35# version. . . after adding my TST there are MANY times I wish I had the 50# one since I can peg this bad boy out VERY quick. heck, this was stock and nailing it in 5th

I'm finally going to take the plunge and get some gauges. I am seriously considering the Westach white face 2" boost/EGT combo in the SRT-10 A pillar. Has anyone installed this setup? Does anyone have pictures if you have? Any comments or better combo's, or a better place for this gauge?

Yes I have this exact set up and love it. Took about a month to get used to reading it efficiently, but wouldnt trade it for anything now. My only very minor complaint was the SRT pillar does not have the rubber trim on the windshield edge that my Laramie one did, so to the particular eye you notice something is not the same from the left pillar to the right pillar.

Ditto on the zip tie. Mine was fine until I loaded Smarty sw#3. Immediate blowout.

I just installed mine. Have to hook up the probe and boost connections. Bholm was right, thanks. The gauge is big enough and the numbers are easy to read.

Excellent set up with the A pillar from Geno's.

Just a general question about the dual Westach gauge. Geno's lists two different temp sensor fitting sizes, 1/8in and 1/4in. Is one better than the other?? I don't personally have a preference so just wondering what people have used and why... . Also, what's the best place to mount the temp sensor?? If it matters, I have no plans to mod my truck heavily... maybe just a Smarty once V4. 4 gets perfected, a GV OD and this gauge setup.

it is just different thermocouple sizes. . . no other difference. go with the 1/8th. that way if the threads get screwed up you can always just punch the hole bigger for the 1/4in
