Towing capacity question - MegaCab

Sirius Radio Question?

I am trying to research axle loads for towing with a new truck. Could someone check their door sticker and post the front and rear axle capacities for a 2004 3500 DRW 2X4 and a 4X4? Does anyone have some weights from scaling the above year truck? Or point me to a web address for researching this? Thanks for your assistance!

For the truck in my signature the front axle rating is 5200lbs and the rear is 9350lbs. I had to weigh it when I bought it because I brought the truck in from Nevada and bone stock with half tank of fuel it weighed 7500lbs. Front was 4500, rear 3000. This was just the truck without me in it.

AAM rates the 10. 5 for 10,900 lbs. Not saying dodge rated it for that and not saying the springs are either, but with air bags your good to go.

I thought AAM rated the 11. 5 at almost 11,000lbs???

It may be rated for 11k by AAM but the trucks rear axle rating is 9350. That's most likely the spring rating since the tires can handle much more as well as the axle. With my slide in camper on board I've got 8200 on the rear and 5000 on the front.
