I'm hoping there are at least a few guys around here who know what a DMI bumper is...

Anyways, I put one on my truck, and the drawbar is too high. I dropped it as far as the brackets can allow, but I still need about 4 more inches of drop. I have seen a few around with a drawbar that has drop in it. I was wondering if anyone knows of a company that makes these, or they are strictly a custom part.

The Q-C II uses a regular receiver ball mount, right? Haven't seen a regular DMI drawbar hitch with a drop. Could make new mounting plates to drop the frame more.

I'm surprised you still need more drop. I have the opposite problem with my Schuck 750 RT-R. I wanted the swinging drawbar, so I got the one with the 3 1/2" drop to clear the hitch frame. Not a problem too often, but sometimes is.

The Q-C II is the full bumper that uses a regular drawbar. I think the receiver hitch is the Quic' n' Easy, I believe. The height is alright for gravity wagons and the like, but is too high for our square baler. The tongue on the back dang near scrapes the ground. I would say the height of the drawbar is about the same height as the reciever hitch would be, may down an inch or 2.

Can you get some pictures of this? It would be nice to have the drop when I need it, but I would think the straight drawbar would be alot stronger for pulling auger carts around.

Leaving today, and I'll be out of town til about mid week. Shoot me a PM to remind me, I'll get some pics and post them. Hopefully the compressor is still home so I can get them quick. Will have to look in the shed when I get back.

RW- Can send the pics to me, I'll put them up for ya.
