Explore NH, MA, VT, and MA

I am flying to the great NE this week for a few days of just bumming around to get away from it all. Anything in those states I should be trying to get a look at? Been around the world a few times, but never been to those states.

Stay away from Boston or any big city in MA for that matter, lot of crazy drivers and not much for site seeing.

ME and VT and northern NH are nice though.

Castle in the clouds NH/ plymouthrock MA/ Boston museum of science Ma/ Six Flags agawam Ma/ NE dragway epping NH/ to name a few spots.

The Auto Road up Mount Washington is pretty cool too. You can see four states from the top when its clear. Make sure you hit the seacoast area and get some fresh seafood while you're here!!!

I've been up that way twice.



Just roaming through the Green mountains of VT and the White mountains of NH are worth it. Franconian Notch is NH is near Mt Wash. great scenery.



On the second trip:

Kent Falls on the west side of CT was cool to see.

I think you can tour a Naval sub in RI close to RT 95.

If you get as far as Maine, check out Acadia National Park.

I could spend a day in the Cole Land Transportation Museum in Bangor, Maine

Trip is over. Quite a bit of culture shock going from here to there, saw a lot of hills, trees, and a long coastline back down to Manchester NH, did it all in a rented Toyota. All the Dodge diesels were being used for earthmoving work I thought, then realized that them are SNOW plows, not bulldozer blades.

Sorry Don! Oswego is where they got dumped on with snow, 8-10 feet in about a weeks time last winter. They might still have plows on and cleaning up. Get it? Ha, Ha!

OK, did not get the connection, sorry. I did not always live in a snow free area like I do now, but in the midwest we always took them off in the summer for lots of reasons. It just struck me as odd to see so many on in June. I guess if summer is only a couple of months long, what the heck, just leave em on.

Most people up here take them off, contrary to popular belief, we only have snow for about 5 months. The only time you see one now is if they are being transported.

Whenever I saw one, I saw more than one. Not sure, seemed that either I was looking at a snow pusher dealer stock, or more likely someone in the business who just left them on the pusher trucks between snows.

Yeah, that's possible. I worked for a guy that had 6 or 7 Dodge plow trucks. ( that's where I got the disease ) We only ran 2 or 3 in the summer, the rest sat, sometimes with the plows on.
