I am interested in any other options to the 8R19. 5 tires on Rickson or equiv. wheels. Does anyone know whether the 8R19. 5 tires are likely to be continued for 10+ years, or are there any other tire and wheel options that are as tall and about as narrow to fit the SRW 2500/3500?

Lt 275-85-17's?

I wish the manufacturers would release an Lt 275-85-17(16) for our trucks. Load range "E" at least. I'd be maybe 34" tall and a bit wider than a 265. Lower rpm's but minimal rolling and wind resistance increase.

On the ricksons 19. 5 rim, I have the Michelin XDE-MS 245/70 R 19. 5" tire... "F" rated At 4080# @ 95 psi

About 33" and about the width of a 265-16 tire.

Bought my tires localy

About $285 each... 21/32 tread depth.

You can have mine for reasonable if you want. I have 5 of them on my truck. But something tells me the amount of power I will have is not going to get to the ground using them. So they will be getting replaced. Those tires would look sick on a doolie. Tool Man keeps salivating on them, though, so I have to Armor-All them once in a while. :-laf

I had to holdback paul from trying out your road armor for a week or so. My bumper was off and well yours was facing is the right direction AND convienently on the engine stand ..... but I wussed out. Cause then I would owe ya two grand or so

Buckshot mudders. Radials and load range "E". Had to sipe the center lugs for the packed snow and ice. I really like 'em. Best price was @ NTW, National Tire Warehouse.
