Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 2-stroke oil

went to walmart last night, thought I'd get some 2stroke oil and add that next time I fill up. All my local wally world had in stock was their super tech stuff. I got the stuff that you normally would mix with gas. It didn't however say anything about it being low ash. Did I get the right stuff? the only other thing they had was their super tech outboard engine 2-stroke oil like you would use in something that has oil injection, like a snowmobile. thats not the stuff I wanted is it?

I've been told that Walmart Super Tech Universal 2-cycle Engine Oil is a good choice and just about the least expensive. They say it contains less additives and solvents than the others which would mean more actual oil for pump lubricity.

The super tech comes in a blue container , the green lable part has outboard 2-cycle tc-w3 engine oil. On the back it says high quality ashless tc-w3 cycle engine oil

Why not use MMO or Power Service, or Lucas??? I heard bad stuff w/2 stroke oils.

the stuff I bought came in the clear plastic containers with the chamber in the top you can use to measure it out. so I take it I got the wrong stuff, I actually wanted the outboard engine stuff. I use that in my snowmobile, somes out looking kinda blue in color, correct?

Biodiesel is a nice additive for lubricity also. Used to use MMO, 2 stroke oil, motor oil, standadyne, or whatever was available. Lately have been using bio and am SOLD on the stuff. Motor runs smoother, quieter, it cleans the fuel system, is cleaner burning, not toxic, and is. . very oily.

I use to use WMart 2 stroke oil on a regular basis. Now that B10 (10% biodiesel) is available locally there's no need to to add the injector oil. Biodiesel is the best, IMO, for adding lubricity to diesel fuel... even small quantities like 1% or 2%.

I just love it when those little ricers with their chrome hemrhoids hanging off the rear bumper and 50,000 watt stereos come up on the right side of me at a light. I'm not a bad guy but, if they have the sound up so loud that I can't hear my music, and the only vibrations I feel are not those associated with what's under the hood . . . I put the comp on 5/5 and smoke the bejiminies out of them when the light turns green. If they are so unfortunate to pull up to me at the next light and havent turned down the whomp da da whomp maker . . . I let em have it again.



It's ridiculous how stupid some of our young people are. This one knuckle head had to go 3 times without rolling up his window. Then at the forth light - yep a real candidate for brain transplant he was - his little girl friend (poor kid she was, real cute too, to be stuck in the same ride with this bonehead) finally smacked him in the face :-{}then got out. He didn't pull away from the light so I didn't smoke him (after noticing his girl was out on the street) out. Not sure if she ever got back in with him or not. Better off for her.

I think the bottle you have is the "Universal" it's just more expensive because it has the measuring device built into the bottle. At my local store they have the universal for 97cents for an 8oz. bottle. I have seen it available in the one gallon size as well, but not near home. I don't think there is anything wrong with the "outboard" type, but the info that i read stated it has more solvents and additives in it to meet the requirements for the outboard rating. Generally all we are looking for here is added lubricity, and you get the most lubricity by adding more pure oil, less solvents. That's the issue with MMO, more than 60% solvents if I remember correctly.

The bad things I hear are: The smoke fills the interior up real quick.
From whom: the kid in the ricer.

Bio is just about the cheapest additive you can find. And one of the best I have used yet.
Honestly, I never really noticed when I ran all those other additives.
But I DID notice when I ran Bio.
