Lift pump Questions

My truck died on our way up to Prescott from Phoenix, I was driving up a light grade when it just died tried to restart and ran for about 3 sec. and died again and never restarted. Im guessing the lift pump quit and was wondering

what would be a good replacement, I have a tst stacked with a BDDL and the stock pump would cause a stumble when I would get on it. What are your opinions on different lift pumps, I would appreciate any help.

I have yet to install my first aftermarket fuel pump, but after much reading, I ordered my self an AirDog from DieselPerformaceProducts.com for $600. I basically got sick of watching my low pressure fuel gauge go to 0psi when I'd get on the go peddle.



I'll have the product tomorrow and plan to install it on the 4th.

Will be installing a FASS on my 06 tomorrow. Had one on my 04. 5 and really liked it. Aftermarket is the way to go. There are many different brands and a wide range of pricing. Im not going to argue who's better than who. You'll have to do that yourself.

Has anyone used the Glacier Diesel Fuel Boss lift pump? The idea of a one less electrical somethin or other to burn up or go bad is appealing. I'm a little skeptical 'bout something running off the crank but it might be a good idea.



They don't have them available for my truck yet. If they're not up with them soon I'll move on to a AirDog.

I have the glacier diesel system on and I can tell you it is a first class setuup. It is only about $350.

I have the BD Power Aux. Lift Pump w/ the fuel pressure light indicator.

Have you checked. warranty? Mine quit on my 4. 5 and they replaced with a in tank pump no charge.

Put the fass 150 in a month ago and like it. It has really improved the top end.
