ok so what and where is everything one can do to the ve pump for rather cheap. im looking for either someone who is willing to write it all out or give me a link to where its all written out already.

im looking to turn the fuel screw up lossen the afc install a gov spring and probably do the timing.

this is for a friends truck its a 91. 5 i belive since its all stock and intercooled. what problems might come up truck has a 181k. truck is 91. 5 auto w/ aux o/d 3. 08 gears i assume 4x4 le

If it's intercooled, it has 3. 54 or 4. 10 gears. The auxillary OD is a bit redundant with the tall auto OD ratio. Unless he has lots of power and wants to go really fast.

Typical problems- paint, steering, front suspension, though 1stGens are the beefiest, IMO. INjector pumps can leak with the advent of old age and ULSD. Injectors get coked up and dont spray right.

Throttle Position Sensor is an issue, as DC never really fixed the crappy design in the original one. Keep an eye on te oil levels in the diffs.

The D70 can throw a shim for no reason- I've had it happen a time or two.

Saggy springs will make the stiff ride even stiffer.

What happened to your 95? You have a 24V now?
sold the 95 and bought the 99 listed in my sig. keep an eye out im the one w/ the 8in iter cuts that dont go above the cab.
