You need to re-do your intake plumbing and get rid of that kinked hose just ahead of the intake horn. That's a power *******.



Ok I used the thief word that starts with S and I didn't mean any reference to a dealer. That's pretty stupid for TDR to block out that word IMO.

But I'll still stay a member.

Is it me or does that motor look like it is rotated (CCW) towards the drivers side?

Yae the motor sits slanted. They said it was installed professionally. It does not look like it. Im going to have to take a pic of the custom ac braket. It needs a few things redone under the hood. But i did not care because it had the cummins and 4 real doors. thanks Ryan

That looks like that was a early recon power from cummins when they offerd kits back in the 80's



Since thats a 2wd truck Im shure those mounts are the same as the frito lay

trucks



I talked to a guy in texas that has a 2wd burb with a 4 bt he installed just a un bolt and bolt job , the orginal engine a 454

The reason that is has the tilt because they used the P-30 adapter. The adapter has the tilt made into it.

I think the reason was so the engines in the P30s would clear the dog houses

some of the Ford dump trucks did the same thing with cummins power in those trucks in the 80's as well
