Any Ram guys in SE Florida?

Good Dodge Mechanic in N. Alabama?

Lastest update on "When the Truck Stumbles".

Drove it for 2 days with Andy's Edge. Ran ok. Went to get my daughter this afternoon. Truck set 1 1\2 to 2 hours after getting home from work and going to get her. Ran ok for @ 15 minutes. On the drive home, started stumbling and cutting out. Did not shutdowm. Did this for @ 30-45 sec. then cleared up and ran fine the rest of the way home. Check codes and found p0123. Throttle position sensor. No engine light came on when truck was acting up.

I guess the next step would be to t\s the tps circuit.

Now where did I put that CD with the manual on it?

Anyone have a bicycle they want to trade for this rumbling, stumbling, farting, burping truck of mine? :-laf I could use the exercise and drop a little weight too.

I have a few extry bikes. I'll be manufacturing custom frames in the near future-have to fit you for that.

Now you want a road bike or a mountain bike? :-laf

Oh, and stay away from dept. store bikes if you really want to depend on it/enjoy it. Oo.

Cain't help much otherwise.

Congrats to Bean and his Fummins on a GREAT show!:D

Bean was headed to Columbia with the sled on the first pull as was Mr. Stoner. They both shutdown before pulling the sled into the creek. Reset the sled and Bean pulled off another amazing pull and sent Mr. Stoner packing by I think 9' feet.

Joe made a good pull to get 4th or 5th. Barry's D-max was making a good showing till something blew. He's going back to get it tomorrow AM. JMBryant was making an excellent pull until his intake collapsed and shut his truck down.

It was a fun night under the black smoke. ;) I'm going to bed... .

Had a great time at the Bedford Co. pull tonight! Bean really showed out with the FUMMINS, and proved it in the pull off. Makes me proud to be a CR man, if only mine ran like his Id be set!! The stupid hose between the filter and turbo collapsed and killed my motor and right there I stopped. Looks like I will be ordering one of those hard tubes to solve that problem. But I had a great time making my first pull. Thanks for all the advice Joe, you really helped me out. I kind of got scared after the two infront of me smoked there clutches, but the ole OFE hooked like a champ!

Thanx guys, that was a blast! I believe I could of made the creek if I didnt let out of it.

At TS I collapsed one of those dang 3rd gen boots on my truck, chaged boots after that.

Joe, after thinkin about your 6. 0 problem I bet you have a oring problem or inj problem but still check the IPR and ICP first. I have had injectors come apart and cause that slow start problem.

I've been running since last Thursday with no problems. The new VP took care of hard starting issues when hot.

The answer to the cutting out and shutting down was a loose connection at the cowl above the valve cover. There are two connectors. The big square one has a white plastic lock and release lever. The lock was about 3\4 the way over. When you move the lock it pushes out the other side of the connector. This was causing the relays to lose power in the dist. box. I pushed the lock over, secured it with a zip tie, and have had no other problems.

I may have knocked it loose when working with the fuel lines during the pump replacement or it worked itself loose over time. Either way, all is up and running.

On a side note, my wife was on her way home last night when a LARGE piece of plastic blew off a road tractor, hit the front of the car and went under it.

She said it immediately slowed down and lost power. I told her to limp it home and I would look at it since this happened @ 3 miles from home. Imagine enough plastic to cover one of our trucks wrapped around the driveshaft and in the carrier bearing. I cut and picked at plastic for @ 45 minutes and still had to leave some in the carrier that I could not get out.

Oh yea, the Buick is still in the driveway not running.

I sure hope my bad luck with vehicles ends soon.

Ok, enough crying. Ya'll be save.

Hello all, been a minute since I posted have still been working out of town, probably 3-4 more wks, Anthony I see your still under issues with your truck, I can scan your truck if needed on the weekend, let me know. Somebody get the Bullseye off my truck I've had enough, I had my mirror(the entire mirrror, extension arm included) knocked off or should I say ripped off my truck Monday by another Dodge 3500 on my road who was crowding my side of the road, then I get home last nite and this morning the wife backs out of the the shop and plows my truck in the driveway :mad::mad:, all I could do was get in my other truck and leave. Hope everyone elses week has been better than mine.

Thanks to Joe and the gang for a new set of shoes for the new to me Jeep!

Joe, on the way home I noticed a white, early 3rd Gen. , 4 door, Big Horn Edition dually for sale. Looked like a 2WD. Really couldn't tell from the angle. I'll check on it for you if you want.

Had a good time out in Hillboro last night, I need to address some wire connections as I lost my accellorator pedal right when I was getting to the good stuff! Congrats to Jacob for his win that was a nice hook. Some one tell Jonathon that the man is out to get him and might as well not show up anymore since the sled operator is slammin on the brakes for him and no one else.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Stoner lost a TC and his rear end. I have spent some time today fixing things that have been breaking loose in the cab from my damn bounce, gotta get that figured out. #@$%!
